Do you love your dog and have an interest in learning more about how to properly take care of and train your dog? Join the 4-H Dog Club!
Our club will partner with the Paducah Kennel Club and teach you agility and general dog care tips. The club will meet every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 6:30 – 7:30, beginning on Monday, October 24, 2016 at the McCracken County Extension Office. The first meeting will be a parent/child meeting (no dogs allowed at this meeting). All paper work will completed at this meeting and a one time fee of $7.00 will be collected. The $7.00 fee for club membership is to cover the cost of extra insurance and other club expenses. Please bring a copy of your dog’s current vaccination records on this day. Dogs will NOT be able to participate without this information.
The club year will end, for the year on April 24th.
The first meeting of the month will focus on a dog care topic of some sort: guest speakers, basic pet care, tours of vet facilities, beginner obedience etc. The second meeting of the month will be held at the Paducah Kennel Club, where participants will work with dogs on the agility course. The Paducah Kennel Club is located at 1325 Fisher Road, Paducah, KY 42086.
